A quarterback, Bradshaw was the overall number one choice by the Steelers in the 1970 draft out of Louisiana Tech. He led the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowls and was the M.V.P. of Super Bowls XIII and XIV. Bradshaw was a four-time All-Pro (1975, '78-'80) and played in three Pro Bowls 91975, '78, 79) and was the N.F.L. M.V.P. in 1978. Bradshaw played his entire career (1970-'83) for the Steelers and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996. While at Woodlawn High School in Louisiana, Bradshaw set the national high school record in the javelin throw. Since his retirement, Bradshaw has been a television analyst and is currently the host of the N.F.L. Pre-Game Show on FOX and has appeared as an actor in a number of movies and television episodes such as "Hopper" and "The Cannonball Run."
