Harold Carmichael
Four-time N.F.L. All-Pro
Once the Eagles traded starting wide receiver Harold Jackson to the Los Angeles Rams before the 1973 season, the other Harold stepped in and proved he was more than just a big target. Carmichael would catch passes in a then-record 127 consecutive games and ended his pro career in 1984 as the sixth-leading receiver in NFL history (590 catches for 8,985 yards). In his first season as a starter, he had career highs of 67 catches and 1,116 yards and didn't get a Pro Bowl invitation. He would go four times over the next eight seasons, including 1980 when he was a major contributor in getting Philadelphia its only NFC Conference championship and Super Bowl berth.
