Dave DeBusschere
Member of the Basketball Hall of Fame.
A eight-time N.B.A All-Star and six-time All-Defensive First Team, DeBusschere played his career with the Destroit Pistons and the New York Knicks. He was a player-coach for the Pistons for three years, a move the Pistons made to end his baseball career. He later was an important part of the Knicks championship teams of 1969-'70 and 1972-'73. Following his playing career, DeBusschere served as comissioner of the A.B.A. and later in the Knicks front office. In his baseball career for the Chicago White Sox, DeBusschere was 3-4 in 36 games in 1962 and '63 with a 2.90 E.R.A.
