Two Time All-Star
Fosse was a catcher for twelve years in the majors for the Cleveland Indians (1967-'72, '76-'77), Oakland A's (1973-'75), Seattle Mariners (1977) and Milwaukee brewers (1979). Fosse was an All-Star in 1970 and '71 and won two World Series with the A's. He won Gold Glove awards in 1970 and '71. In the 1970 All-Star Game he is very well known as being on the receiving end of a home plate collision with Pete Rose. He finished his career with a .256 batting average. Fosse currently serves as a broadcaster for the Oakland A's.
