Member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Drafted in 1964 by the Washington Redskins out of Iowa, in his rookie year Krause led the N.F.L. in interceptions and was named to the All-NFL team. Traded to the Minnesota Vikings in 1969, Krause appeared in eight Pro Bowls (1964, '65, '69, '71-'75) and holds the all-time NFL record for interceptions with 81 and ranks fifth with 1,185 career yards on interception returns. Krause is a nine-time All-Pro (1964, '65, '68-'73, '75). He was selected to the Hall of Fame in 1998.
