Ray Mancini
W.B.A. Lightweight Champion
Ray "Boom-Boom" Mancini won the W.B.A. Lightweight Championship on May 5, 1982 with a first round knockout of Art Frias. He held the title until June 1, 1984. In November of 1982 he defeated South Korean Duk-Ku Kim with a 14th round knockout. Kim eventually died from the injuries he suffered. Mancini's career record was 29-5 with 23 knockouts.
