Tim McCarver

Two-time National League All-Star

In 21 big league seasons, McCarver played in four decades (1959-'80) and was an all-star in 1966 and '67. His 13 triples in 1966 led the National League and become the only catcher to do so. McCarver was the backstop for the Cardinals on their World Series championship teams in 1964 and '67. He later played for the Expos, Phillies and Red Sox. A career .271 hitter with 1,501 hits in 1,909 games. He is now a broadcaster for Fox Sports.
