During his 12 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings (1967 - 78), Alan Page earned a reputation as one of the most intimidating defensive linemen in the game. He played for the Chicago Bears from 1978-'81. He was the first defensive player to win the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1971. Page was a six time All-Pro selection (1969-'71, '73-'75) and played in nine Pro Bowls (1969-'77). He was a member of the N.F.L. 1970's All-Decade Team and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1988. He is currently an Associate Justice with the Minnesota Supreme Court.
