Member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Making his major league debut in 1965 and would pitch his entire 20 year career with the Baltimore Orioles. Palmer led the Orioles to World Championships in 1966, '70 and '83. 8-3 career in postseason, and 268-152 lifetime, his 2.86 E.R.A. ranks fifth of pitchers with over 3,000 career innings pitched. Palmer tossed a no-hitter on August 13, 1969 and led the American League in E.R.A. in 1973 and '75. Palmer won 20 games eight times in the 1970's, won the Cy Young Award in 1973, '75 and '76. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990.
