1970 World Championship Tournament Most Outstanding Player
Peppler was a member of the 1968 U.S. Olympic Volleyball team and at the 1970 World Championships in Bulgaria was named the tournament's most outstanding player. In 1967, she was a member of the United States team that won the gold medal at the Pan American Games. She was a player/coach in the International Volleyball Association with the El Paso Sol in 1975 and the Phoenix Heat in 1976. She was also the player/coach of the New York Liberty of Major League Volleyball in 1987-'88. She continued to play volleyball indoors and on the beach until 1991 when she was 47 years of age. Peppler was inducted into the Women's Sports Hall of Fame in 1983 and the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 1990.
