1989 World Indoor Champion
Regis won the bronze medal at 200 meters at the 1987 World Championships. He was a part of the 1988 Olympic silver medal 4x100 meter relay team. Regis was World Indoor Champion in 1989 and was a member of the World Championship gold medal 4x400 meter relay team in 1991. He was part of the team that won the bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics. Regis won the silver medal over 200 meters at the 1993 World Championships. Regis was ranked in the top 10 in the world seven times, with a high of second in 1993. In his only individual Olympic final, Regis finished sixth in the 1992 200 meter race.
