Member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Widely acclaimed for his fielding, Brooks Robinson played his entire major league career with the Baltimore Orioles from 1955 through 1977. He played in 18 All-Star Games and was the M.V.P. on the All-Star Game in 1966. The American League M.V.P. in 1964 and World Series M.V.P. in 1970. Robinson won 16 Gold Glove awards, a record. His career totals were a .267 batting average, 2,848 hits, 268 home runs and 1,357 R.B.I. Robinson was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1983 and was selected to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team.
