Three-time All-Star
In 16 major league seasons with the Oakland A's (1967-'76, '82), California Angels (1977-'80) and Boston Red Sox (1981), Rudi led the American League with 181 hits in 1972. He batted .300 twice and was selected to the all-star team in 1972, '74 and '75. He won Three Gold Gloves (1974-'76) and was a member of three World Series champions with the A's (1972-'74).
