Lee Roy Selmon
Member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame
The first player ever drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1976, Selmon proved worthy of that pick. Selmon totaled 78 1/2 sacks in his career. He was an N.F.L. All-Pro in 1979, '80 and '82. He played in five straight Pro Bowls and was the N.F.L. Defensive Lineman of Year in 1979. Selmon retired in 1984 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.
