Siemon was drafted out of Stanford with the tenth pick overall in 1972 as a linebacker by the Minnesota Vikings. Siemon played all eleven of his professional seasons with the Vikings, was in three Super Bowls and was selected to four Pro Bowl teams. In 2006, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. His daughter Kelley won a NCAA basketball championship with Notre Dame in 2001.
