Member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame

A wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the acrobatic Swann was the M.V.P. of Super Bowl X. He was a first round pick out of USC in 1974. Swann played on the Steelers teams that won Super Bowls IX, X, XIII and XIV. He was a Pro Bowl selection and an All-Pro three times (1975, '77 & '78). Swann was selected to the N.F.L. 1970's All-Decade Team. Swann retired after the 1982 season with 336 receptions for 5,462 yards. Swann was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
