Three time National League All-Star
Known as the "Toy Cannon" as a home run hitter for the Houston Astros in the late 1960's and early 1970's, Wynn came to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1974 and became an all-star and a part of their pennant winning team. He won the National League Comeback Player of the year Award that season when he hit 32 home runs and had 108 RBI and finished 5th in M.V.P. voting. Wynn retired after splitting the 1977 season with the New York Yankees and Milwaukee brewers. he finished his career with 291 home runs. In 2005, his number 24 was retired by the Astros.
