With the continued success of Superstars programs, ABC ordered a special of celebrities contesting Superstars. The winner was Academy Award nominated actor Robert Duvall (Duvall would later win an Oscar for Tender Mercies). I have little further information on the event, and this list of participants is unconfirmed and may be incomplete. At age 61, Oleg Cassini is the oldest competitor in Superstars history.
