1991 MEN'S FINAL
Kelly Gruber became the first and only baseball player to ever win the Superstars title. Gruber survived a penalty on the tires in the obstacle course to win when Barry Sanders and Gary Anderson surpassed Herschel Walker's time. Gary Anderson tied the basketball record of Barry Sanders with 34 points.

Herschel Walker in the weightlifting event.

Gary Anderson of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers recorded 34 points in the basketball to
tie the Superstars record.
Renaldo Nehemiah fell short of his quest of winning a 5th Superstars title, but he
did win the bike race once again.

eliminate Herschel Walker from overall contention.
