It was a great day for me, I arrived in my wonderland - Liverpool!

8 March 97

Today was just like a dream! I went to Melwood early in the morning, around 9:30a.m, then I saw Stan Collymore, Jamie Redknapp, Steve Mcmanaman, Robbie Fowler and also the other players! Great! Their training session was started at 10:30a.m. First they did some warm up exercises, then they played a five-a-side game. The atmosphere was absolutely good. I heard that they shouted to each other to call the teammates to pass the ball which you can't hear in a real football match! Their training session was ended around 12:00p.m. Of course I would not miss the chance to collect their autographs and took photos with them! Am I dreaming? All of them are very freindly and nice! Today is really an unforgetable day for me in my life!

9 March 97

Today I visited Albert Dock, Beatles Meseum, voyage by Mersey Ferry at Mersey River, walk around the shops! A very nice day!

10 March 97

Liverpool vs Newcastle was kick off at 8:00p.m, but we need to get there much early to avoid traffic congestion. The atmosphere around the city was fantastic! I could see Liverpool and Newcastle fans everywhere. This game was the most exciting game I've ever watched! We beated them 4:3 at last! How glad we were when we saw Robbie scored the last goal in the last minute! Nothing can explain my feeling at that time! The chance of watching such an exciting match in Anfield and saw Liverpool won at last was really a GREAT EXPERIENCE in life!



11 March 97

Today I went to Anfield Stadium visiting. The trophies room, the changing room, the boardroom, also the conference room and walk around the pitch! It's really a very very good experience! But then, I needed to leave Liverpool for a short period of time travelling to other places, but I would be back a few days later for the CWC when we will play against SK Brann.


18 March 97
Liverpool - I'm back again!

19 March 97
Since the match will play tommorrow, I went to Melwood once again to watch the players train! However, we haven't get the permission to go inside this time, we can just watch them behind the gate. Just like last time, they did some warm up, then divided into groups and did some passing exercises. Today's atmosphere was a bit strange, it seemed that the players are a bit nervous about tomorrow's big European Game! Later, I saw many reporters arrived at Melwood and interviewed with some of the players and Evans. I suppose I could know what had happen in the afternoon when I bought a newspaper.

20 March 97
Like the last match, we arrived a bit earlier. The match was "Full-Housed" since this was an European match. The match was kicked off at 7:45p.m. We got a penalty by Robbie Fowler in the first half. That's really nice, since the players and fans like myself won't be so worry about the second half. Finally, the match turned to a 3:0 win! And we can go 4:1 aggregately to the semi final of the CWC, our opponent will be PSG next. All the fans left the pitch full of joy! People singing all around, the local radio also broadcast this happy news immediately after the match! The city was really full of joy on that night! However we lost the game in Paris 3:0 later, although win 2:0 at Anfield after that, we still not qulaify to break into the final! However today's experience still always remember on mind!


21 March 97
I really needed to leave Liverpool! I was sad about it! But I think I will be back next year!
