THE GREATEST WORLD CUP GOALS

Owairan - 1994 WORLD CUP

SCORER: Saeed Owairan
MATCH: Saudi Arabia vs. Belgium
TIME: June 29, 1994
PLACE: RFK Memorial Stadium, Washington DC

DESCRIPTION:  Owairan picked up the ball just outside his own penalty box, started a mazy run over a distance of 80 yards, beating 4 Belgian players.  He then shot emphatically past Michel Prued'homme, the 1994
goalkeeper of the tournament, to score.

A great individual goal that can rival Maradona's effort against England.
