Kazakhstan

The breakup of the Soviet Union ment that previously unknown sporing nations emerged. One of these was Kazakstan who became the International Bandy federation's 9th member in 1994. Dynamo Alma-Ata and Kazakhgaz (Uralsk) are the most well known Kazakh bandy clubs.

Kazakhstan have participated in the last three bandy World Championships (1995-99), finishing fourth the first two times and fifth the latest time.
