*1 -The team name changed from "KIM" to "Dvina" after the 1993-1994 season
     "Dvina" and "Lokomotiv" merged after the 1995 season to form 
     "Lokomotiv-96".
**1-The team name changed from "SKB-Lokomotiv" to "Lokomotiv" after 
     the 1992 season.
 
*2 -The teams "Dnepr" and "Transmash" merged after the 1997 season to form 
     "Dnepr-Transmash".

*3 -The team name changed from "Dinamo-2" to "Belarus" after 1992 season 
     and to "Dinamo-93" after the 1992-1993 season.
     The team went out of competition in the 1998 season.

*4 -The team name changed from "Khimik" to "Neman" after the 1992 season  
    and to "Neman-Belkard" after the 1998 season.
*5 -The team name changed from "Shinnik" to "Belshina" after 
     the 1995 season.

*6 -The team name changed from "Torpedo" to "Torpedo-MAZ" after 
     the 1998 season.

*7 -The team name changed from "Metallurg" to FC "Molodechno" after 
     the 1992 season.

*8 -The team name changed from "Torpedo" to "Torpedo-Kadino" after 
     the 1995 season.

*9 -The team name changed from "Polesye" to "MPKC" after 
     the 1994-1995 season  and to "Slavia" after 1997 season. 

*10 -The team name changed from "Traktor" to "Fandok" after the 1992 season 
     and to FC "Bobruisk" after the 1993-1994 season.
     The team went out of competition after the 1995 season.

*11-The team name changed from "Vedrich" to "Vedrich-97" after 1996 season.

*12-The team name changed from "Gomselmash" to FC "Gomel" after 
     the 1996 season.

*13-The team name changed from "Obuvshchik" to FC "Lida" after 
     the 1996 season.

*14-The team name changed from "Naftan" to "Naftan-Devon" after
     the 1994-1995 season.

*15-The team name changed from "Ataka-407" to "Ataka-Aura" after 
     1994-1995 season and to "Ataka" during the 1996 season.
     The team went out of competition after the 1997 season.

*16-The team name changed from "BelAZ" to "Torpedo" after the 1992 season.
