There are a lot of photos – but are they captioned correctly? At least one – showing the cast of Gunsmoke, isn’t. There are a lot of well-written entries, but do they contain the correct information? Many of them, covering the most well known shows, contain errors, so how can one be sure that entries on the more obscure programs do not?
A listing of all of the obvious errors (Superman lives in Metropolis, not Gotham City, to name one of the most shocking) is listed in the Cave Canem.
If you can find this book going cheap in a used book store, it might be worth picking up. Otherwise, save your money.

In the review I wrote for Suspense: Twenty Years of Thrills and Chills; I commented that it was riddled by typos. Not from a .45, more like a .22 (and more to do with grammar than anything else). Unfortunately, the weapon used on Same Time, Same Station is a .357 Magnum with explosive-tipped bullets, and in a reference work this is inexcusable.
