I am Ruby Ruthanne Daisy Lenore Baker. My birth name was Ruby Ruthanne Baker but I asked to have it changed when I was about five years old so I would be named after all of my Grandma's and Great-Grandma's! I am nine years old and in the fourth grade level of home schooling. I have a seven year old brother, Gary at first grade level and we have a lot of fun learning together-when we aren't arguing! I also have two big brothers, Sam 21 and Travis 19 and a big sister, Beth 16. My Mom stays home to take care of us and our home, my Dad makes Chevy Suburban Trucks.

We live in rural Wisconsin in a log house in the middle of a pine woods. We have a lot of pets: ponies, dogs, cats, chickens, peacocks, chinchillas, rabbits, several different kinds of parrots, two cockatiels, and a Zebu steer.

I am a Junior Girl Scout and belong to the Badger Council- Troop #151. We have a lot of fun, we go on hikes, do crafts, meetings and trips. Gary is our troops' honorary Junior! All the girls like him and he likes to help us. Making this web site helped me earn a computer skills badge and meet new friends around the world.
We had a great summer. We don't quit our lessons in the summer but we add some extra fun stuff. I went to two girl scout camps one about horses and one about science and weather.I want to be an entomologist (bug scientist) when I grow up or the artist that draws the pictures for the insect books. I take art lessons from an artist in Madison named Larry Elliot. He has taught me a lot and I have fun drawing with him.
Fall is coming into Wisconsin now and our days are getting cooler and shorter. The trees are just starting to turn color. We always go to visit my Grandma up north in October when the trees are in full color but before the snows start. We have an early Thanksgiving with her.
