You enter the hall of the castle and the door closes magically behind you. You try not to panic for you know you can trust Mabli. And you notice some keys near the door. Their colors are very shiny - maybe a sign of magic.

"Welcome in my humble home," she says with a smile. "Let me be your guide around. You need to fear nothing as I told you. Just let yourself be enchanted and rejoyce in the spirit of magic."

"This is my study where I seek new spells or recipes for potions for those who will need them. Often I have found a wanderer in the forest who was close to death, because he was lost out there, but due to my life-saving potion I was able to prevent the worst. Those potions are made from secret ingredients and magic is cast on them as well. The magic everyone here uses is pure white magic which means it is good."

"Here you may rest a while and enjoy a refreshing potion I offer you. We have a long journey ahead of us so you will need all the energy and strength."

You shyly nod, because you never had a magic potion before and wonder what it may taste like. 'Surely not like strawberries.' The thought crosses your mind while you sit down. Mabli hands you a chalice. The content looks red and you carefully take a sip. It really tastes like strawberries and as it makes its way down it tickles a bit which makes you smile. You wonder if Mabli had read your mind about the strawberries. While you enjoy the refreshing potion something comes floating along!

"My spellbook has a life of it's own. It is filled  with magic and lots of spells I have learned centuries ago." She stops for a monent for she notices your questioning look. "It may sound unbelievable, but I am more than 400 years of age. Centuries ago I had lived in Havena when the war of the wizards had taken place. A terrible war where black magic was used as well. Havena was under the reign of the Wizard's Guild Master. At this time I loved a man who was some kind of a pirate. He gathered all his men and they went against Havena to free Albernia. The fight for Havena did not take too long. Niamad then was announced the ruler of Albernia. This was also meant to be the end of our romantic love, because people demanded that magic had to be forbidden. Niamad had to abide and I tried to stay close to him, but someone discovered that I was a sorceress. All the pleading and the proof that I am a white sorceress were pointless. They did not show mercy or were willing to make an exception. One night they hunted me and nearly killed me if it was not for Niamad who saved me. This happened close to the Farindel Forest. While Niamad struggled hard for my life a beautiful female elf appeared. She introduced herself as Farindel Wipfelwind, keeper of the forest. Farindel promised Niamad to take care about me and that she will take me with her into the forest where I will be save. So it happened and with a weary heart Niamad went back to Havena while I studied more magic here after I had recovered. Due to this age old magic I was able to see Niamad when ever I wished to and nobody would hunt me anymore. This noble man is long dead now while I live on forever and keep my promise to help those in need and protect the enchanted creatures from evil. My powers cannot be measured by human standards anymore, but they are not as strong as those of Farindel. She had cast a spell on me so I may live on forever. My daughter has inherited the magic power. She is all what remained of Niamad. You will meet her later on."

This is quite a rather sad story you heard, but Mabli does not seem to grieve anymore. She let her words sink in a while and then takes you to another room of the castle.
