You follow Mabli into her bedroom with a little blush. You have never before been in a sorceress' bedroom. But Mabli does not seem to be embarrassed to show you her private room.

"In my enchanted mirror I can see all the evil that might be done here by intruders of the forest meaning harm to us. But I can also see if an honest wanderer is in need of help out there. This mirror told me your arrival so you may not wonder I was there to welcome you."

"Here resides my daughter Muirne. Her name means 'affection, beloved'. It had been given to her as a sign of the deep love between her father and me and she is a part of him which will always be a reminder of Niamad in my heart. Muirne is the keeper of the magic carpet. We use it for our travels or when we visit other spheres which is also possible with this carpet."

Mabli also has a special room for different artifacts she has found during her travels.

"These are very powerful artifacts like the staff of healing, the gold wand of power. The crystals are different depending on the color. The red one saves your life when you get poisoned, the blue one makes you regenerate faster. With the silver ball you can look into the past while the blue one reveals the future."

You are impressed what magic can offer. And again it is a proof that you always encounter white magic here.

As you make your way through the castle with Mabli you reach the last door. Before Mabli is even able to open it a lightning appears through the closed door.

Then you hear an angry voice. "For heaven's sake will you work now? Or do you want me to turn you to dust?"

Mabli smiles at you. "Nothing to be frightened of. Come on in and see yourself!" She opens the door...

This seems to be the kitchen as you judge from the sight. You spy a witch and she is obviously cooking something.

"Please meet my dear friend Bronagh. She is a good witch and a marvelous cook!" The witch turns around and smiles at you. "Don't be afraid I won't turn you into a frog! I was just angry, because my special soup nearly burned for the spell was a bit tricky. Sorry for the lightning!" As an excuse Bronagh hands you a bowl of her soup. The smell is outstanding so you try and notice that it is not hot. It tastes wonderful, first like mushroom soup, then like salmon and at last like chocolate cake. Your look must have been somewhat surprised...

Bronagh has a bright smile on her face. "My special soup makes you feel like you had a three course menu and it gives you strength as well. Oh, Mabli, I have done some healing potions for you as well!"

"We have to get on," Mabli says, "you can come with us, Bronagh, if you like."

So the three of you leave the castle...
