As you leave the castle a cat appears and rubs her head on Bronagh's leg. The witch bows down to stroke her and she purrs even louder. "This is Vevina my companion. Her name means sweet lady. Every witch has to have a companion. We are mind-linked to them and that way we can communicate with eachother." Bronagh explains to you.

Suddenly a white raven comes flying and he lands on Mabli's shoulder. "Hello, Fehin, nice to meet you, my friend. I haven't seen you in a long time."

"I have been visiting the otherworld and enjoyed myself at the crystal palace of the fairy queen." Fehin answers. "Now I am on my way to go back to Gormican." Then off he flies again.

"Fehin, which means little raven, is the companion of Gormican, the wandering wizard. Gormican lives here, but he wanders to different places to see that the hidden treasures of magic are well kept by other wizards, sorceresses, good witches, princesses and princes. They are not meant to fall into the hands of the evil one's who use black magic. Those treasures are most important for us so they are hidden in many different places, because the black magic users can only destroy us when they get hold of every single treasure which we try to prevent.

As you wander on with your enchanted friends you suddenly jump aside, because some flames appear from behind a tree. "Nothing to fear," says Mabli, "this must be Aodh which means fire." As soon as Mabli had explained you grab sight of a great green dragon. "Welcome," he speaks. "I greet thee Mabli, Bronagh and your little friend." He bows down his massive head to you and you notice that he is of a wonderful shining green. "I am Aodh the old dragon and my lair is hidden here. I am as old as this world itself and I protect the magic creatures here. You may go with my blessing for you mean well and your soul is pure!"

You thank the dragon and Mabli tells you that old dragons like Aodh have very powerful spells.

While wandering on you stop and look to the ground. A single shamrock grows there and you remember the words you heard from Núala. Mabli nods as she notices your questioning look. So you take the shamrock. "You are blessed with a gift possessing this clover. It gives you the gift of fairy sight which means that you can see the fairies in full regalia!" Bronagh tells you.

Deep in the forest you find a hut. The owner stands at the door like she had been awaiting you.

"Welcome, I am Niamh the witch of wishes. I have known that you will come, little human. My name means 'bright' and so are the wishes that I grant. May you make one now, but think thoroughly what it may be."

Without hesitation you make your wish. "I wish that all of the enchanted beings may live in peace, no one shall neither hunt nor hurt them but respect them for what they are. And never shall the treasures fall into the hands of the evil."

"This is a very unselfish wish and I will grant it to you. It speaks for you that you gave the wish to help others. May the other ones of your race grow to think like you. Now come on in. Your journey is a long one. Accept my hospitality and have a rest and gain new strength from my magic soup."

So you all have a rest at Niamh's home before you journey on...
