My first year of dance I did ballet in my recital. The song was "Copycat" and I hated my costume but I was chosen to be a leader so it wasn't too bad. I got to be center stage because of it. This is what I looked like:

My second year of dance I did tap in my recital although I also took ballet. Each class was only allowed to do one number and so tap it was. We did "Babyface" and I loved my costume and the dance that year. We even performed for the "Good Old Summertime" festival downtown. It was a great year for me. Here I am:

My third year of dance I did ballet in my recital. It was a song entitled "Little Chinese" and we had to wear Chinese hats which had a habit of falling off our heads while dancing. My mom used elastic to hook mine under my chin and she had it so tight I thought I was going to choke to death. Here is that one:

My fourth year of dance I did jazz. I couldn't wait, at last I did something different. I really love jazz and I used jazz shoes to do "Simple Simon Says" but now I'm in half-soles which I like better. I did a split for my picture because I wanted to show off, nobody else in my dance class could do one. Here is that one:

My fifth year was last year and I got to do 2 numbers in my recital. I did "Get On Your Feet" for jazz and I did "Allegro" for ballet. Since these pictures are bigger than the ones above, I am putting a link

1999 is the first year I took dance with my cousin, Meghan. She used to go to a different dance studio but decided to join the one I go to. So I have pictures of her as well as my teacher on this page.
