He was sitting by the prophet
with a needle and a thread
"I've been here two millennia,"
the bearded scholar said.
"There's still time if we believe
in resurrection for the dead."
Then he tried once more to reattach
St. John the Baptist's head.

Sometimes
Tamed into unhealthy fruition
or disregarded almost
into extinction
sometimes those who survive hatred
can no longer survive love.

of anger and lust:
no wonder there are
so many cracked pots

the whole performance
