Customer: "I want an alarm clock
that will wake Father
without arousing the whole family."
Clerk: We have only the ordinary kind
that will awaken the entire family
without disturbing Father."

Abba sat up straight and worked on his groups - a task of roughly 70 hours per week. His time off before Pesach from his college teaching jobs gave him even more time for his groups. He hit the over-80-hour mark just recently, and there's probably more to come.

His language groups are giving him tremendous pleasure, and they have been very active lately, with lots of back and forth correspondence. Words are his thing.

He was off and running with the kids during Chol HaMoed. They (meaning Abba and the kids) wanted to go to Tzfas, but due to a change in the bus schedule they arrived about an hour after the bus left. They stayed at the Central Bus Station (affectionately known as the CBS) and discussed their options. They came home at 10:30, which is what they told Ima before leaving - except that they had expected to return at 10:30 AM, after a night in Tzfas, and not 10:30 PM. Oh well, that's just a minor detail. So, as a consolation prize, they got up early and went to Ashdod instead.

Abba's groups are on vacation during Pesach, but there is still administrative work to be done so that they hold their own afterwards. He's a busy guy.

Isru Chag means a return to the usual routine. This is a day for his computer clients.
