It's very important to leave an out - leaving a way that you can get out of any problem. By leaving an out you offer yourself the most inexpensive security.
True, some people like to live dangerously. Perhaps they also tailgate behind other cars. They do not allow opportunities to remove themselves from problems. Their excuse might be that they have trust or faith, or that they hope for the best.
However, people should make an effort - or do their hishtadlut - in order to remove the need for a problem. Beyond that hishtadlut there is justification for having trust that things will work out for the best.
In other words, your second computer could die at the same time as your primary computer. However, if you have maintained both computers and backed up both of them properly, then there is no reason to expect still other problems.
But someone with a single computer is looking for trouble.
