The incorrect feelings or rumors about viruses are rampant.
Anti-virus programs have three main jobs. They can identify the viruses and give them a name. They can protect you from some viruses. Sometimes they can remove specific viruses but not necessarily all of them. Caution: Anti-virus programs are far from foolproof.
After removing a virus your computer system is rarely the same as before you had the virus. It is in worse condition.
We can compare it to an operation. You might need an operation. The operation might be painful, but you’re happy because now you’re alive. However, you are rarely the same or in better condition after the operation as another person who did not have to undergo that operation at all.
Sometimes the virus or residual effects of the virus remain in the Windows registry, which holds the basic information about the way Windows works. It might cause limitations in the operation of Windows. A virus that is programmed in a particularly skillful way might change the way your original files work, or it may change some aspects of the file itself. In the case of data files you may not be aware of the changes in the data. Your data has not just been corrupt - it’s also misleading.
There is no way to "see" whether you have a virus, and the virus checker in your computer may not be able to detect them. To avoid viruses, do not open attachments or programs that were not created in your own computer. If you receive an attachment in your email, send it back, and ask the person to send it to you again in .TXT (text) format, and then delete it without clicking on it. If you are not careful, then you may click open that potentially dangerous attachment.
