Many stages are involved in getting things done or changed. Some people can implement change better than others.

Let us review the issues from the point of view of the teacher.

It is necessary to take the following sequential steps in order to solve an educational problem:

To realize that a problem exists

To identify the specific problem

To isolate the various aspects of the problem

To do something about it (experimentation or research)

Those in a position of authority or power may be able to effect a change.

This website in itself will not try to change the educational system. On the other hand, it will identify certain specific issues. That is an important step in our list above. We will also make specific recommendations for change.

Thus, our goal is not to complain or to criticize for its own sake. It is a significant first step in an activist program.
