Many people in the school system work out of fear. They are afraid of retribution. They are afraid of being punished. They are afraid of other things that will happen to them, bad things, if they do not do what they should do.
Teachers should not teach out of fear. Although it may improve the quality in the short run it creates the wrong atmosphere in the school.
The less fear there is in the school or the more that it is possible to remove fear, the more effectively everybody in the school will be able to do their job.
This fear can be replaced by joy and if everybody in the school works with joy and the school is a joyful place in which to be then the principal and the supervisors will have accomplished a great deal of their task.
