Teaching college level EFL reading comprehension
After having taught English as a foreign language (EFL) for many years on the college level in Israel I have developed a number of techniques which I have found to be successful. Some of them may well work for others so I would like to share them with you. This series of articles is by no means to be considered proscriptive. Indeed I would welcome the comments from other people who also teach similar subjects and perhaps together we can develop some joint concepts which will be of value to all of the readers of this series of articles.
Our goal therefore is basically to share information in a non-threatening environment by means of these articles and to give a have a give and a take back and forth so it seems like listening and sharing of information on both sides.
