You're a good teacher. You work hard, you prepare and plan your lessons in an orderly manner, your class is under control, and you are pleased with your abilities. Visitors to your classes inevitably express appreciation for your efforts.
Does this mean that you will be able to survive as a teacher?
Not necessarily.
You might not yet be prepared for one of your real tests: the PTA - Parent-Teachers' Association.
Parents are periodically invited to visit teachers in order to discuss their children's progress in school. How well you can demonstrate to (sometimes hostile) parents that nothing in the world is more important than their child may be no less important than your teaching efforts in the classroom.
That is why you should prepare for the meeting.
