When shouldn't you phone parents?
It's only really useful to get in touch with parents when you have something good to say about their child. Other times rarely have the desired effect.
That doesn't mean that it never has the effect. Some parents may react too strongly - they may become abusive to their children.
So, how do you use parents to your best advantage? That is what this section is about.
This section is not about parenting itself. See the Parenting website for those issues.
The section about PTA meetings discussed a special time when it was not advisable to speak to parents about sensitive issues.
