Parenting ins not usually considered to be the primary focus of a person's life cycle. However, the logic becomes more clear when we realize that one of Man's main purposes and foci in life is to have and raise children. This is unquestionably the purpose of women, according to Jewish tradition.

When we consider our larger purpose in life, then we can view and relate to our own parenting in a different light. We can continue our parenting with a sense of purpose, mission, and dedication, and with a determination to succeed in our most important task in life.

This worldview changes our way of looking at our professions, our loves, our hobbies, our methods of selecting a spouse, and our way of raising children.
