Language

You may be able to transfer some aspects of your language skills to your child.

If you are a bilingual or if your mother tongue differs from the local language, then you may want to help and encourage your child to become a bilingual himself.

You can also transfer writing, translation, editing, or Hebrew skills to your child.

You may want to share your special professional skills - but don't fall into the "my son the doctor" trap, and don't force your child to follow you.

Check the relevant forums for your profession and follow how others relate to this important issue.
