Parents' impact on their children has decreased in recent years. This is a result of of current changes in values regarding child rearing, as well as the trend to place the child at the center. Nonetheless, parents may still have a great impact on their children. They can still work towards raising perfect children.

True, perfection is admittedly little more than an ideal. It will never be achieved.

Nonetheless, if we choose perfection, rather than mediocrity, as our goal, then we will come closer to reaching and achieving more successful results when raising our children.
