והחוט המשולש Nothing can be stronger than a united family policy. A child who sees that he wants things that differ from those espoused by other family members will have difficulty forcing his way.
Will that united front cause the child to toe the line? Absolutely not. However, it may be a significant step forward in softening the child.
Will you notice this softening? Not necessarily. It is difficult to imagine how the child would have reacted without the united family policy.
However, the child cannot ignore the fact that he stands alone, and that he is rebelling against more than one or two people.
