When your child rebels
Making a point

Sometimes the child rebels in a severe manner. In those cases, he may be trying to stress a point to the parents.

You may ask various questions:

Those are legitimate questions. However, they do not represent the way that a child thinks. His manner of thinking will develop and improve when he grows up. Right now, he is confused.

His confusion may result from a potential change to a new status. He is about to enter the army, or go to college, or possibly even a dormitory high school. You may want to obtain independent and objective help from others in order to determine the cause of the problem.
