Most serious books on psychology are written in a way that explains things to psychologists but they do not explain why people do what they do in a simple casual conversant tone.

This website is going to take various issues in our lives and it will analyze them in a way that anybody would be able to understand.

After reading this website you may have a better insight into the things that people do. You may look at them in a different light and you may understand why they are doing what they are doing just a little bit better.

To call this website a psychology website takes a certain amount of bravado. After all, I did take a Masters degree in counseling but that certainly does not make me a psychologist, a psychiatrist, or a psychotherapist.

Worse, I do moderate a discussion group among these people without having the proper qualifications myself. That group is called YiddisheKop and it includes the foremost Jewish specialist in the field today and I sometimes question whether I am worthy of moderating this group among my superiors in psychology.

Nonetheless, my lifelong interest in the field has given me a certain perspective if not an in-depth knowledge of the area and the fact is that over the course of time I have had the pleasure of teaching certain subjects in psychology as well as counseling people in the field. Thus, although I am not academically qualified in this area I have just done it.

This matches various other things which I have done through my life, such as computer work LINK without having the requisite qualifications and I have taught this in higher education settings where I perhaps should not have done so.
