Many things can be handled through psychology, but one of the most difficult is hate.

Hate is irrational
There is no way to explain to a person why they should not hate
For that matter, there is no way to explain to a person why they should love
Very little can be done to help a person who bears hate
Hate leads to grudges
Hate leads to a need to develop reasons for hating
Hate leads to excuses for carrying out irrational actions
Hate leads to many crimes against humanity
Hate leads a person to turn against himself or herself
