Some people need assistance in solving problems. In most cases the client should make the final decision, after receiving counseling from a rabbi, a counselor, or a psychologist.
The professional should not actually solve the issue. He or she should analyze the available information in order to offer the the client the tools to find out how he wants to pursue or solve the problem – independently.
There are various cases in which two sides are asked to resolve important issues. The issues take different forms:
Most issues in life do have solutions. Those issues that have no solutions suffer from limitations because the parties involved usually do not see the big picture. That we leave to the One Above. However, with creative, out-of-the-box thinking, we can find solutions to many of our problems.
Unfortunately, many solutions shake up the homeostasis of nature. It is important to find a creative solution that causes the least damage to other systems.
