Sensitivity
Water

It may seem strange but water seems to be colder when you are sick than when you aren't. Water, not for everybody perhaps but for some people, the same cup of water will be colder when they are sick. Sick people do have, in some cases, increased sensitivity to various issues and temperatures are certainly in this category. There are other sensitivities as well for sick people.

Water that is applied to the body for medical reasons while one is sick seems to be more cold than water applied to the body when the same temperature of water is applied to the body when the person feels healthy. Sometimes it is actually pleasant to have that water applied if you want to clean off part of the body or for other reasons. Yet, when a person is not feeling well, it becomes worse.

Water applied to the teeth or any cold object applied to the teeth when the person is sick seems to have a stronger reaction. The teeth seem to be more sensitive to cold water and to other cold things when a person is not feeling well.
