| A picture of the once-busy intersection of Bibb Co. 58, AL 5 US 82 in Brent, Alabama. This is how the AL 5 approach to the US 82 turnoff into Centreville used to look, back in 1999. Co. Rd 58 is the former US 82 two-lane thru Brent and Centre- ville. Today, a short extension of the four-lane on 82 East from Tuscaloosa bypasses Brent, dumping traffic out onto AL 25. As yet there is no complete bypass of Centreville. However, most of that town is missed by AL 25. |
