| Not yet striped, the section of the new bypass system running from incorporated (but as yet undeveloped) Northport to north of Flatwoods is open to local traffic only at its western end. |
| The Northport byapss has now been named Wayne Rose Road after a former mayor of the city. Currently, US 82 is being realigned at the Rose Rd intersection. Once this project is complete, the entire bypass -- connecting US 82 and US 43 near the new Tuscaloosa County High School -- should be open for thru traffic. |
