Bill served in the U.S.A.F. as a hydraulics specialist from 1960-1965. The "highlight" of this career was when he had the chance to work on Air Force One for President Kennedy. Stationed in beautiful Hawaii for two years, he must have really suffered from the lack of falling temperatures and falling white-stuff!
For the past 27 years Bill has worked as a Mill Mechanic for the Inland Steel Company. He's the guy that keeps it all working so you and I can continue to count on steel for new Dog Show Vans!
The "Greatest Dog Sitter" going, Bill is also a top notch "Go-fer" and is frequently seen at the shows. If he's not setting up the equipment or grabbing a bite to eat, you can bet he's holding some Crested and spoiling it rotten!
When not at dog shows Bill can usually be found on weekends at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson, In. Always restoring some piece of equipment, repairing, repainting or grabbing a bite to eat, this dirty trainyard is Bill's "Piece of Heaven".
